Who qualifies
We list licensed clinicians, pre-licensed clinicians practicing under supervision, and certified practitioners — each with a badge that says plainly which they are. Credentials we recognize include:
- Licensed clinicians (psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent) who work with Asian American clients and families
- Clinicians who practise in a language other than English — Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Thai, Khmer, Punjabi, Nepali and more
- Clinicians with training in culturally responsive, liberation, or multicultural psychology
- Clinicians who work with intergenerational and refugee trauma
- Clinicians who work with immigrant families, mixed-status households, and international students
- Transracial and intercountry adoptee-competent clinicians
- Pre-licensed associates doing this work under supervision (in-training badge)
- You do not have to be Asian to be listed here — you have to be good at this work and say so honestly.
Non-licensed practitioners are listed within their scope: profiles describe your work accurately and don't use clinical terms reserved for licensed care. US-based practitioners first; international listings are coming — apply and you'll be first in line.
